How to Have a Blast on Your Visit to Cabo With Water Sports

Your Cabo vacation provides the opportunity to enjoy all sorts of fun water sports ranging from snorkeling to scuba diving, water polo, whale watching, open water swimming, jet skiing, stand-up paddle (SUP) boards, and more. We are proud to provide our guests with a seemingly never-ending number of opportunities for fun on the water. If you are even slightly interested in having a blast while on Cabo’s crystal clear blue water, you will have the time of your life during your Cabo vacation.

Snorkeling and Scuba Diving

Don the tube called a snorkel or scuba diving gear and you will have the opportunity to venture down into the water, check out the fish several feet below the surface and enjoy a completely new aquatic world. Snorkeling does not require extensive training. Though scuba diving will take some training, it is well worth the effort. Snorkeling and scuba diving is particularly enjoyable in the Sea of Cortez as it is chock full of colorful subaquatic delights.
If you are an experienced scuba diver, you will have an unforgettable experience at Sandfalls, first discovered by the one and only Jacques Cousteau. Snorkel or scuba dive the beautiful Cabo waters and you will see all sorts of amazing fish including guitarfish, eels, rays, reef fish, gorgonians, and more. If you would like to see live finger reefs, be sure to head on over to the Pulmo Marine Park. Here, you will find more than half a dozen such live finger reefs and also have the opportunity to kayak.

Stand-up Paddle Boarding

Stand-up paddle boarding has become one of the most popular water sports over the past 10 years. This is the best way to take in Cabo’s stunning natural beauty while working your muscles. We are proud to provide stand-up paddle boarding opportunities to our customers.

Whale Watching

If you have a friend, family member, or other acquaintance who has visited Cabo, that individual has likely brought up the subject of whale watching. Whales are particularly common throughout Cabo in the winter months. Our crew is happy to provide you with whale watching opportunities. Just be sure to have your camera ready to take snapshots of these magnificent animals.

In fact, Cabo even provides the opportunity to swim with whale sharks. These gigantic fish are referred to as sharks yet they should not invoke fear. Whale sharks primarily feed on plankton so don’t fret! Catch a glimpse of one of these enormous animals and you will have quite the story to tell. In fact, whale sharks have the potential to reach 40 feet long. Whale sharks are particularly common at Cabo’s Sea of Cortez.

Kayaking in Cabo

Hop in a kayak and you will have the opportunity to explore Cabo’s coastline. This is your chance to kayak on over to one of Cabo’s gorgeous bays or the stunning Lover’s Beach. Some Cabo kayaks are built with translucent bottom paneling, providing a clear view of the aquatic life below.

Parasailing

Parasail in Cabo and you will enjoy the thrill of a lifetime. Do not assume Cabo parasailing is uber-expensive. Check out the rates and you will find this activity is surprisingly affordable. You can parasail on your own or with a friend or significant other. This is your opportunity to soar upwards of 600 feet in the air, providing a bird’s eye view of Cabo’s unparalleled beauty.
